Water is one of the most important resources our body needs. In fact becoming dehydrated by just 3% can cause vertigo by making the fluid in the ear more thick. Chronic
dehydration can lead to arthritis in the joints, and even high blood pressure. Pretty amazing that something so simple can have an astounding affect on the body. This month I would like to share the book, “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” by Dr Batmanghelidj
However just drinking gallons of water can be difficult, and here are some ways to make it easier.
Replace your other Drinks with Water!
Teas, Coffee, Sodas, Sparkling water, and Juice do not count as water.
Drink High quality purified water.
Start and end your day with water.
Drink before, between and after meals.
Goal is to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces.
Eat Raw Veggies and Fruits
Increase daily intake of high water veggies and fruits.
ex: Apples, Pears, Watermelon, Cucumbers, Celery, Carrots, Radishes, and Lettuces or anything that is juicy has a high water content and will not take away from hydration - Make sure it is Organic!
