About the event
This workshop will be guiding each individual on how to build their own hoop drum. The drum will be 16" in diameter, a hoop frame made of high qualtiy wood and the hide will be deer hide. Along with buidling your drum we will have other materials that you will be able to decorate your drum with if you choose. There is some strenuous work involved in build a drum. Mainly the part of stretching the hide.Ā
Once you regsiter and pay for the course we will order your drum materials and they will be soaked and ready for you to start building when you arrive Saturday afternoon. Ā We will be avaialbe to help you build your drum.Ā
