Tim Janak, L.M.T., M.T.I.

Tim Janak Sr. has been involved with Massage and Bodywork for 17 years. He has 2 years of pre-med education from University of St. Thomas and is a National Licensed Massage Therapist of N.C.T.M.B. , Certified in Orthopedic Massage and is a Certified Personal Trainer by N.A.S.M.. Currently Tim is approaching 1800 hours of advanced training in massage and bodywork modalities. He focuses on addressing balance in the whole body, in restoring efficient posture, and believes that movement is life.

Tim’s initial massage training was in Sports Massage. He has been fortunate to work with the elite athletes of the Houston Marathon, The Houston Oilers, and every day athletes. He continued to advance his education by studying the St John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy, the John Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Orthopedic Massage.

Along with these physical modalities Tim studied and graduated from a 500 Hour Energy Medicine School in Houston. Currently he is working with Sound and Vibration and other Energy enhancing modalities. Presently he incorporates the use of Sound and Vibration in all of his sessions. He continues to do research and studying in this powerful modality.

Tim teaches Advanced Education for Massage Therapist and is a “Texas Continuing Education Provider”. Currently he teaches Anatomy and Hands-on Massage Techniques for a Massage Therapy School in Houston. He is currently studying Neurosomatic Therapy.
