About. Tim Janak Jr.

 

Tim Janak Jr. was drawn to massage therapy as a profession during his teenage years and began learning about the craft from his father, Tim Sr. After finishing high school Tim attended the University of North Texas where he received his bachelor of music, and later took a job as a band director in Cy-Fair ISD at a middle school.

Returning to his passion for helping others through massage, Tim completed his formal massage therapy training in 2006 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2006. Tim has continued his education in Thai yoga Bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Energy Anatomy, and Energetic Sacred Geometry. In 2007, Tim completed his certification in Orthopedic Massage and currently is working towards becoming a Certified Integrated Neurosomatic Therapist through Neurosomatic Educators. In 2008 he became a Certified Personal Fitness Instructor and uses it to help his clients to recover from injuries. Tim is also a Massage Therapist Instructor and also assists his father in teaching continuing education to Massage Therapist in the Houston area. Tim has a passion for running long distance races and maintains his fitness through Crossfit.

Along with the passion that he has for massage he shares that passion with his wonderful wife, son and border collie who receive massage on a regular basis. He strongly believes in developing healing crossroads and communicating with other bodywork professionals to provide for his clients’ needs. Tim believes, "My healing is your healing, your healing is my healing and our healing is the world’s healing."
